Hopelessness

When you are in a potentially life-threatening situation like this, there are times such as now when there seems to be so much coming at you that you can’t possibly have a big enough catcher’s mitt. That is when my angel friends appear.

On June 25, 2008, my 13-year-old son and I boarded a plane for Honolulu, Hawaii. For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to live on an island. There is something in my life that I did NOT wish for. I am experiencing cancer for the third time.
